Background to the 11 Plus Exam in Lincolnshire

There are sixteen Grammar Schools in Lincolnshire that children will need to take an 11 Plus Exam to get into.

Lincolnshire 11 Plus Exam Format Details

In Lincolnshire the Grammar Schools all have the same exam apart from Caistor Grammar School. The Exam is written by GL and involves two papers. 

  • Non Verbal Reasoning
  • Verbal Reasoning

Caistor Grammar Schools 11plus exam is written by both the school and GL Assessment which includes two papers covering:

  • Verbal Reasoning paper
  • Multiple choice verbal reasoning paper
