What are the core differences between standard VR tests and CEM VR tests?

Standard VR tests tend to be made up of 21 different question types as produced by NFER. To find out which materials to use to prepare for and practice for these tests please go to our 11 Plus VR preparation page.

CEM VR tests can vary in content but normally will include comprehension, some cloze questions (where blanks are left in a paragraph to fill in), vocabulary testing (synonyms, opposites, odd one out, compound words) and they can also include some punctuation and grammar (although they have not done so recently). You should visit our CEM VR page to see the recommended materials for preparation.
