There are a range of independent schools in South Yorkshire covering mixed schools, schools for boys and schools for girls.

Birkdale School is an all boys school from age 4 to 15 but a mixed school from age 16-18.

Sheffield High School is an all girls school.

Westbourne School

Westbourne School is a mixed school.
