Background to the 11 Plus Exam in Buckinghamshire

There are thirteen Grammar Schools in Buckinghamshire that children will need to take an 11 Plus Exam to get into.

Buckinghamshire 11 Plus Exam Format Details

In Buckinghamshire the Grammar Schools have the same exam. The exam is written by CEM. CEM 11 Plus exams have two papers and mixed within those papers are sections on the following topics

  • Numerical Reasoning ( Maths calculation and problem solving questions)
  • Verbal reasoning ( English comprehension, vocabulary testing)
  • Non-Verbal reasoning.
